De-Lay

Thunder of lungs, masses screaming below, empire of ruin decayed from within. I, lucifer's pawn, long lost in shadow. No delay, time for the end to begin. A king among kings, I sit on my throne. The revolting masses swarm and draw near. Weighing my options: below me is stone, with the long fall at deaths door I appear. The ground beneath my feet is grown of blood, fractured crown in the mess, soon forgotten. The devil was then laid out with a thud, now I did rule all fallow and rotten. With no one left to stand against my will, in through the pearly gates my wrath shall spill.
